Amarillis comes to us from Teustepe, and was already an academic star when she came to us for support. She comes from a very supportive family and has been a strong leader in our Foundation. She graduated with high honors from high school and is now in her fifth year studying Clinical Biology at UNAN in Managua. Due to her high academics, she also has an internal scholarship from UNAN to live in a dormitory while in school. After graduating she will be assigned to work for a year wherever the school assigns her. She wants to eventually own her own clinic in her community where she can serve her community.
