Living in rural Nicaragua, most of our students have not been to Managua or other part of their country and have a fear of an unknown and intimidating urban environment. Visits to museums, libraries, Universities, factories, tourist areas, trade schools, and other areas which give students greater confidence once gaining insight into a world beyond their own. We help stimulate students’ minds, foster career goals, and inspire them to achieve those goals.
These trips are not only educational, they are fun for the students and they usually choose a special spot to socialize and bond as a group. Field trips are an important way for students to feel special and appreciated for the hard work they put into their work, the Foundation, and their community.
